About Working With Chattanooga Senior Portrait Photographer Marshall Stephens

I'M WORRIED MY TEEN WILL FEEL AWKWARD IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA. CAN YOU HELP WITH THAT? +

Absolutely. One of my favorite parts of the job is helping people relax and feel like themselves. I don’t just tell you to smile and hope it works out. I guide the whole experience so the photos feel natural and authentic.

WHAT IF MY SENIOR OR ATHLETE DOESN'T REALLY KNOW WHAT THEY WANT THEIR SESSION TO LOOK LIKE? +

That’s totally normal. Most seniors don’t come in with a perfectly polished vision, and they don’t need to. I’ll help brainstorm ideas, whether that’s locations, outfits, or ways to highlight their interests before the shoot so they show up excited and ready to go.

DO WE HAVE TO STICK TO SPORTS OR BIG ACTIVITIES TO MAKE SENIOR PHOTOS MEANINGFUL? +

Not at all. Sports are awesome, but so are making memories with friends, hanging out at your favorite place, or even repping a favorite TV show. The goal is to capture what matters most to your student right now, big or small.

HOW INVOLVED SHOULD PARENTS BE DURING THE SESSION? +

Parents are always welcome to be part of the experience. Some like to step back and let their senior or athlete take the lead while others enjoy tagging along. Either way, I’ll make sure your student feels celebrated while giving parents peace of mind that everything is handled.

HOW SOON WILL WE GET THE PHOTOS? +

You’ll get your professionally edited images fast, delivered in a private online gallery ready for sharing, posting, or printing.

WHAT IF MY CHILD'S SCHEDULE IS PACKED? +

I get it. Between school, practices, and games, time is limited. I’m flexible and used to working around busy schedules. We’ll find a time that works and make the process smooth and stress-free.

HOW DO YOU MAKE THE PHOTO EXPERIENCE FEEL PERSONAL? +

I take the time to actually get to know each student/athlete, their interests, their vibe, and what excites them. Every session is unique because every student is unique. My goal is for your child to walk away not just with photos, but with an experience they’ll remember.
